What does Build Lab build?
Five layers of a company: its foundations, the product, the operations behind it, the go-to-market engine, and the leadership to run it, through mentorship, financial consulting and strategy. We scope it to your stage.
Which sectors do you work with?
Any sector. Some sectors, starting with climate, also have a dedicated lab of their own.
Does it cost anything?
No. Build Lab has no fees, and that includes the mentorship, marketing, financial and strategy support. We take a share of ownership instead, agreed in writing.
What do you take in return?
Terms are agreed with each company in writing: a small equity stake, or a SAFE for services. There are no fees.
Do I need a technical co-founder?
No. Our team builds the product, and you get mentors, marketing, finance and strategy support around it.
What if my business has hardware or a physical side?
We integrate it with the software and systems we build, so it all works as one.
Do you buy the company?
No. We build it with you. When it is ready, it can be funded or sold across our network, on your terms.
